Job opportunities for a physiotherapist include part-time or full-time with a flexible schedule. In addition to working in a private orthopedic clinic setting, there are options to be affiliated with community programs that are currently in development or even start-up projects that fill a need in the community.
The clinic is growing quickly and is busy, with great rapport with local physicians. We also have an OHIP license in addition to being very busy with private patients. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and we have a great time! We have an excellent massage therapist on staff who fits well with the team with her lightheartedness and sincere care for patients.
We are looking for someone with experience in orthopaedic care in a private setting, working with support personnel and completing electronic health records. The Physiotherapist must be registered with the College of Physiotherapists on Ontario and qualified with a BSc(PT), MSc(PT) or higher. Tasks include assessing and treating patients, creating and monitoring treatment plans, communicating treatment with support personnel, keeping records as per the College Regulations, and completing paperwork for MVAs, WSIB, and private insurance providers.
